About Me

Hi! I’m Adam.

Welcome to my little corner of the Internet. Here you will find some of my architectural work, a personal blog and if you wish for something more than a gallery and a monologue, my contact page will point you towards the dialogue options.

My interests could be described as cosmopolitan. I try to dip my toes in every topic, but when the knowledge pool has to do with technology, science or innovation, I go for a longer swim. I also enjoy actually swimming and that is my sport of choice. My deepest passion is for the unending world of architecture. There I combine my love for meeting new people and ideas with my knowledge of art and science. Supposedly everything has been done before, but I strive for originality nonetheless.

I also have to originate somewhere and sometime, and I have a way to summarize my international journey so far. I came into being in 1992 in a city in Poland, close to the German border, which makes me Polish. My parents decided to try their luck in the 90s and move to the United States, so I am also an immigrant. I was raised in the United States, living in NYC, Little Rock and Cleveland and after a decade of total cultural embrace, I became American. Since 2011, I live in Berlin, Germany, immigrant once more, slowly becoming Berliner. You could say I almost went back to where I came from, but I would say the journey was worth it.

I studied in Berlin and received my Master of Science in Architecture in 2019. My Bachelor Thesis was about the revitalization of the fortress city of Kostrzyn on the Polish-German border under the supervision of Professor Mara Pinardi and Professor Benedikt Goebel. My Master Thesis was also supervised by Professor Pinardi as well as Professor Gerd Sedelies and focused on the reuse of an abandoned tenant building at Englische Straße 29 in Berlin. You can find a summary of both projects on my website.

I speak Polish, English, German and a little bit of Spanish and I love to write, I read extensively about everything and I’m always open to talk or answer questions! I also love to travel.

From 2018 till January 2022, I worked at Kaminski Architekten. I worked primarily with Revit, Photoshop and Twinmotion and adhere to a BIM-workflow, but I also have extensive experience with software like InDesign, Illustrator, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Allplan and Unreal Engine. Apart from mastering all these computer-related tasks, I also do work in all 9 phases of the HOAI.

From February 2022 till May 2024 I worked as an Architect at Burckhardt in Berlin. Now I work as a Construction Project Manager at Valon. Communication is extremely important for me, so if you have any questions or if you need to know more about my qualifications, I encourage you to visit my LinkedIn profile or to contact me directly:

Thank you for visiting! If you have some time, check out my blog and portfolio.
